Indonesia Description:
Indonesia officially known as Republic of Indonesia is a country located in South-East Asia. Indonesia has 17 508 islands and over 6000 of which are inhabited. The largest islands are Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan (the Indonesian part of Borneo), New Guinea (shared with Papua New Guinea) and Sulawesi. Java, the world's most populous island. Indonesia shares land borders with Malaysia on the islands of Borneo and Sebatik, Papua New Guinea on the island of New Guinea, and East Timor on the island of Timor. Indonesia also shares borders with Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia. The largest lake is Lake Toba in Sumatra with an area of 1145 square kilometres. Indonesia has at least 150 active volcanoes. The climate in Indonesia is a tropical, with two distinct monsoonal wet and dry seasons.
Indonesia has perfect conditions for diving. You can dive all over year, however the best months are from June till December. Most famous diving destination is Komodo island and Bali island. You can find over there exciting diving places.
